Stinson LLP is seeking a highly motivated associate attorney with at least four years of experience to join the Banking and Financial Services Division in our Kansas City office.
Stinson’s banking and financial services attorneys represent and advise financial institutions of all sizes across the entire country, including small community banks, multiple bank holding companies, regional and super-regional banks, and larger national banks. Our attorneys have also served the needs of numerous industrial loan and thrift companies, and government entities.
Qualifications Required: Juris Doctor and active Missouri license are required. Qualified candidates will have at least four years of experience in banking, lending and financial services transactions. Candidates must possess excellent academic credentials and have strong writing, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Litigation Associate Attorney

Stinson LLP is seeking a results-oriented commercial litigation associate with 4 to 5 years of experience to join our Kansas City office.
Excellent writing, oral advocacy skills, and academics are required. Admission to the Missouri Bar is required. Clerkship and court experience are a plus. The successful candidate should have the following experience and skills:
– Significant responsibility for pleadings, motions, and briefing on complex matters;
– Proficiency handling e-discovery and fact development;
– The confidence to tackle complex fact, legal, and logistical issues with foresight; and
– The ability to be strategic and analytical.
The role requires a candidate with strong interpersonal skills, a high degree of maturity, a willingness to learn, and a desire to manage a challenging workload on work spanning high-stakes litigation, arbitration, and trial work in Missouri, across the U.S., and internationally. We are relentlessly committed to client service and look for candidates who share that commitment.
Stinson has more than 200 trial attorneys and represent clients in state, federal, tribal and other courts and tribunals throughout the U.S. We also often resolve matters without litigation by conducting investigations, engaging in pre-suit negotiations and employing alternative dispute resolution procedures such as arbitration and mediation.
